About Me
My first love of writing began as a child, writing notes to my parents explaining why I shouldn’t get into trouble. They didn’t work, but putting words on paper was an idea that stuck with me. It gave me time to think, and to erase my words. Although that didn't always work, either.
As a teenager, I tried my hand at writing poems and short stories. Those stories are long gone, having been written before the Internet, and I wish I had them back. Today, I have a laptop full of ideas, just waiting to be written, and several works in progress.
Jesus spoke through parables, and I want to follow that model. My goal is for Christian and secular readers to enjoy my work and hopefully find answers, if they are searching. I am a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and Romance Writers of America (RWA), and have attended conferences sponsored by both organizations.
I'm old-school when it comes to social media, but I can be found on Facebook. Someday I'll get an Instagram account, although I'll probably need to get help from my grandkids to set it up. Or, you can send me an email through the link below.
